ITINERARY
Traveling east to west across Wallace County, make sure to grab a coffee at The Memory Bank and Wallace Trading Company at the historic Wallace Bank building in Wallace.
Driving west to Sharon Springs, you'll find several one-of-a-kind eats, as well as family favorites! The Farmhouse Restaurant, a staple in the Wallace County community, has a family-friendly atmosphere. Penny's Diner is open 24 hours a day and offers a nostalgic 1950's atmosphere. Towns End Tavern offers a truly unique, Northwest Kansas eating experience in a restored downtown building. Another great Sharon Springs stop is Erin's Food Truck, open Tuesdays and Fridays.
While in Sharon Springs, make sure to stop by the General Store and check out their bulk spices and candies. Millers Food Store is another community staple. This grocery store is home-owned and ran by the Miller family. The 27/40 Store is your one stop shop for quick eats, putting out a great lunch selection and much more. And don't forget to pick up your favorite libation at The Thirsty Store -- they boast the largest craft bourbon and whiskey selection in Western Kansas.
Travel west to Weskan for a 50-cent roadside pop before venturing to Mount Sunflower!
