The first Fort Wallace Memorial Association held its first Rodeo in 1955; this makes it the longest continually-running rodeo in Kansas. The rodeo is held annually the last weekend in May.

The Wallace County Fairgrounds hosts the County Fair annually on the last weekend in July. Home-owned carnival, 4-H competitions, free BBQ, Little Britches Rodeo, Turtle Race, Sat. AM parade.
